How big is your facility?

A.

Our Houston Facility is 28,000 sq ft (2,600 m2) closed area with another 22,000 sq ft (2,100 m2) open space so total 50,000 sq ft (4,700 m2) in two building.
The building is dock high with 12 docks for easy load and unload capability.
Our cold areas are subdivided into three sections: Freezer (-10 C), Cooler (+3 C) and Prep Room (+8 C).

Q?

Many chandlers in USA do not send a representative on board to help crew to check the quality of the merchandise as well as to hear complaints and recommendations. Are you one of them?

A.

Definitely not.
Unless the Terminal or USCG put a restriction to get on board for security reasons, our representatives (not the driver) go on board to work together with your crew to check, identify the merchandise delivered, and make explanation of items that may arise questions about.
Ship may need some additional items or replacement and we try fulfill this requirement as much as we can.

Does Deckhouse offers spare parts logistics service?

Yes we do, you can send your spares to us and we can deliver to your vessels on their calls with minimum expenses.

Is Deckhouse member of any shipping organization?

Yes, we are the member of ISSA, NAMS, ShipServ(74762) and IMPA.
Our ISSA membership is in exclusive “Quality Supplier” category.

Does Deckhouse have a technical department?

Yes, as a full-service ships chandler, we can supply all Deck and Engine products used by the maritime industry.
Our tech staff is capable to identify the exact need and quote and supply accordingly.

Yes, we supply bonded from Brownsville to Lake Charles.

Deckhouse delivers in Texas to Houston, Texas City, Galveston, Nederland, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Point Comfort, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Freeport Texas, Lake Charles, Pasadena etc.
We also deliver in Louisiana to New Orleans, Baton Rouge and in Alabama to Mobile and Pascagoula.
